Features
One of the best 1″ textile dome tweeters in the world, controlled by 6 powerful neodymium magnets in a symmetrical drive motor. Dispersion driven by a unique waveguide, developed to combine perfect dispersion up to 19KHz @45deg., lower crossover frequency with minimal distortion and close alignment with the woofer. All the above offer a pristine soundstage & reproduction accuracy.
MaYa ii features the best aluminum 7” woofer available with under-hung neodymium symmetrical drive motor and low-loss linear suspension.
MaYa ii shares technologies developed for our higher-end models and presents some new. Multi-layered construction with three materials with varying thicknesses and integrated struts as well as post-mounted tension beams to minimize body resonances & vibration. Precisely calculated 3D printed bass reflex oval ducts with chamfers are also installed. High quality Greek Wool fibers are used in the cabinet. Non-parallel surfaces throughout diminish standing waves.
Each MaYa ii is equipped with two Ncore classD amplifiers (150W + 150W) and a powerful DSP unit, embedded in a rubber-sealed detachable rear chamber. They provide clean & undistorted power for the monitor to reproduce sound with the outmost precision and control. A metal sub-chassis provides better heat dissipation and EMI rejection. Custom speaker-room tunings can be created.
